Your eyes aren’t deceiving you. It’s a Jeron Wilson Chocolate Portrait deck… by Girl. When Evan Hecox joined us in 1997, he started sending Girl graphics and related bits our way, including the original handmade wooden Girl doll. One of his envelopes from Denver contained this gouache portrait of Jeron, a piece that would later kick off the iconic Chocolate Portrait series.
As we celebrate #30ChocolateYears, it seemed fitting to bring this artifact into the light.
