These graphics started as album covers for a band called One Cylinder. I had never heard of them until a random DM showed up:
“Your collages are great. Do you do record covers?”
“Yeah,” I said, “I like doing record covers.”
They sent over three lo-fi tracks recorded on a 4-track during lockdown—solid stuff. The concept called for 24 covers. So I made 24 pieces. Then... the band disappeared. No follow-up, no payment, no nothing.
Left holding the art, I handed it off to Chocolate AD Carlos Gutierrez, who saw something else in it: a great board series. So here we are.
