Last night was the annual Girl Christmas Party at Musso and Franks in Hollywood. Pretty sure I’ve only missed one in the last 11 years, it’s always a blast.
Mike was there last night acting as official photographer. With the lens cap on. Shier wasn’t impressed.
Sal and Cheeks aka Steven A. Smith and Skip Bayless were hosting the “Skaters who don’t know enough about sports but still talk shit Show”. Sketchy table to get caught up at.

Sam somehow manages to get up in front of everyone and give an awesome speech every year. Last night was no exception.

Then as is the tradition it was time to take the shitshow out into the parking lot. I think this was the first time no one ended up in a pile on the ground. We did manage to find a “working” pay phone tho. Merry Xmas Everybody!
I figured since we’re about to embark on a big time demo tour on Wednesday, I’d throw up a few photos from Badass Meets Dumbass (believe it or not, I think that was the last time we did a trip like this). That trip started off with the smoking van getting pinched by the border patrol on the first day. Hopefully we get off to a better start this time.
Roberts had a mean Lebowski thing happening back then.
Our second drive of the trip hit a 28 hour detour thanks to some flooding in Texas.
Mike is mad because Rickk just tore his sleeve off for fun. Sometimes when you’re at a spot til 3 in the morning shit just gets weird.
There were a lot of kids with home made t-shirts on that trip. Those are always cool.
Malto in Atlanta. I think this was the official dawn of the Malto Age.
Fall asleep in the van and you usually end up as entertainment.
Kenny back nose blunting in KC. Can’t wait to go back there and eat barbecue… I mean skate that spot again.

Pitcrew was the half way point. The crew at that demo was pretty epic.

You never know what you’re going to run into on the road. At a Cracker Barrel in Colorado we met John Foggerty and his family. He gave us autographs and the guys gave autographs to his kids. Can’t wait to get back out there.
This Friday night Girl & Chocolate will be doing the demo thing at the Vans Park. In attendance will be Stevie Perez, Elijah Berle, Sean Malto, Eric Koston, Chris Roberts, Daniel Castillo, Justin Eldridge, Mike Carroll, Rick Howard, Jeron Wilson, Mike Mo, and Vincent Alvarez. A lot of guys will be at the 4:35 showing of The Hangover 3 in the mall, if you want to hit that up before hand too.
