20 Years of Chocolate, Denver & NYC
Marc Johnson, Jerry Hsu, Justin Eldridge, Kenny Anderson, Chico Brenes and Sean Malto followed the 20 Years of Chocolate art show to Denver and New York City for some meeting, greeting and, of course, some skating. With Special Guest: Richie Rizzo.

Chocolate’s Traveling 20 Year Birthday Party Part 2
After Denver we went to New York for the next art show. We had some time to skate and found ourself over here. Malto with a warm up crook.
We even made it out to Far Rockaway. Normally I wouldn’t post a photo of Eldy kickflipping in his underwear but he was very emphatic that I shoot it.
We spent a bunch of time down at the seaport benches too. Look out for the undercovers down there.
The NY art show was awesome too. DQM helped us put it on, and it was packed.
Matt Bell and Jahmal WIlliams! LI and Boston.
Too many legends. Tag yourselves.
Poorly poached photo of some rad dudes. Lee, Spencer and O’Mealls.
Andy Jenkins and Jeremy Carnahan. These guys busted their asses to make these shows as good as they were.
Get better Strubing!
CRM TECS!! Peter and Jeff!
Anthony Pappalardo, meet Anthony Pappalardo.
#selfie
Matt Milligan and Matt Willigan. 20 years of confusion.
Epic Crew. Gino, Cheeks, Kenny, Pops, Bri and Tone.
Fashion week has nothing on a Chocolate art show.
Trying to explode the message boards with this one. 3 guys who love posing for photos.
Then it was on to the Fish. Seniors and Freshman.
Legendary DJ crew. Atiba and Sergio from Quicksand!
What’s up Mic-e!
The next day the crew met up at Astor to try and fight the hangover with slappies before the demo.
We even had a Brian Brown sighting!
Then it was on to the LES park where we were greeted by a 3 story Malto.
The demo was great until it was invaded by 200 bikers. Thanks for the great time NY.

Chocolate in New York
Artshows, slappies and demos. If you can’t get down with at least one of those (if not all three) then you’re bumming. In honor of Chocolate’s first 20 years in the biz Marc Johnson, Chico Brenes, Kenny Anderson, Justin Eldridge, Jerry Hsu and Raven Tershy, plus special guest Sean Malto will all be traveling to New York to attend these events, skate, rage, make some friends, make some enemies and eat pizza. Please join us.

Chocolate & DQM
DQM and Chocolate Skateboards will release a special collaboration collection to commemorate Chocolate’s 20th Anniversary, and DQM’s 10th Anniversary. The collection features new, original artwork by Evan Hecox, depicting one of the most iconic skate spots in New York City, Astor Place. Famous for its curb and its cube, Astor is the original down-town meeting place for skaters from allover the city, beginning in the early 90s when skateboarding was just coming into its own in New York. The Chocolate x DQM collaboration includes a board, along with t-shirts and sweatshirts, and will be available on Friday, 26th September, at DQM and online. More things Chocolate and all things New York coming real soon.

Girl & Chocolate’s Euro Blitz, 2000
A throwback to Girl & Chocolate’s tour of Europe in the summer of 2000. Featuring Eric Koston, Rick McCrank, Rick Howard, Scott Johnston, Stevie Williams, Mike York and Tony Ferguson. The good ol’ days. VX quickly and meticulously cut to techno beats. Definitely a Ty Evans joint. Wonderful times and a nice stroll down with what was.
