When we look back on our skate videos, one thing we notice is that our favorite moments happen in between the parts. The skits we work into our videos are always meant to amuse, and inspire the lighter side of skateboarding.

This year we’re celebrating 25 years of filmmaking with a short-film contest.

Whether you’re drawing inspiration from skits like Chocolate POW, Lil Keenan, or Invisible Boards, or you’re totally on your own shit, we want to see what you got!Write, shoot, and edit your own short film!

Winners will be picked by directors Spike Jonze & Cory Weincheque and announced on April 15th, 2018.

RULES:- Submissions must be original work.
– Edits should be 5 minutes or less.
– Videos must be uploaded online.
– Enter by midnight, April 1st, 2018.

PRIZES:*Grand Prize: One film will be chosen as the grand prize winner. Winner will receive an all expense paid trip for two to Los Angeles, California to hang with the team while they film for an upcoming video project. Grand Prize winner will also receive the Girl Films / Chocolate Cinema Prize-Pack including 8 skateboards, entire apparel collection, and recognition across Girl and Chocolate social platforms and a featured blog post on crailtap.com.Two Runner-Up Prizes: Two films will be chosen as runner-ups.
