Mini Top 5 (trad.)
Bill Strobeck’s Top 5 things about staying with Alex Olson
1. Seeing a creature in it’s natural habitat is funny
2. His place is a block away from the Fairfax flea market. Basically I now have enough denim jackets and cowboy hats to make a western movie
3. He is moving out so he’s pawning mad stuff onto me at the moment. I took 1 of the 1,235,251,646 things he offered
4. He acts “out” for fun when he’s alone with me so I got some great chip-n-dale photos for everyone to see
5. He doesn’t know but I’m gunna ask him today to bring me down there for a Crail Couch
Alex’s friend Mikey (not Carroll, but Gigliotti) posted a video featuring young Olson, Yaje, Dill, shit even Hosoi. Some iPhone gems in here.

Q&A Section
From: Craig Clark
Q: Why did Gavin ever quit skating? Just rewatched the vids Hershel posted. He ripped.
A: My insecurities got the best of me. There was a time when I was really comfortable on a skateboard and then there was a time I felt that I wasn’t what I used to be. I was my worst critic! It didn’t help when you’re skating with Rick Howard, Guy, Rudy, and Kostface. Those dudes seemed to always progress and I felt like I couldn’t do shit. Especially switch, that killed me single handedly. I can’t do anything with my left hand, well, maybe one thing :). —The Gav
QUOTES:

Mini Top 5 (trad.)
Alex Olson’s Top 5 things about having Bill Strobeck staying with him :
1. Always have someone to talk shit with
2. I like when he iChats me from the living room while I’m just down the hall in my bedroom
3. He doesn’t rent a car when he comes out to LA. So I put a limo hat on and he sits in the back and I drive him where he needs to go
4. Having a personal filmer because only three Quik riders live in LA
5. Dude loves telling stories
